    *** SAME OWNER SINCE 1980 --- FRAME OFF IN 1984 - 1985 --- RUNS DRIVES WELL ***
This is a 1951 Ford F-1 that the owner asked me to list. He bought the truck in 1980 and took it off the frame for restoration in the mid-1980s. The engine and transmission were rebuilt. All rubber and glass was replaced. Interior was redone with new seat covers, headliner and rubber floor mat. It was repainted Meadow Green. The owner has enjoyed it for over 40 years and has decided to sell. The truck has numerous dings, small dents and scratches plus the two front fenders are reproductions in fiberglass. There are a couple of places in the cab floor that metal was riveted into place. The truck is solid  with the doors opening and closing properly. You can see from the photos that the truck has been used and enjoyed as a truck. The engine fires right up and runs well. Everything works on the truck including aftermarket turn signals and the vacuum wipers. The owner thinks he is the third owner of the truck. He remembers seeing it at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation in Petersburg with tobacco leaves on the doors when he was a kid. A man in Matoaca bought the truck in the 60s and that is the person the current owner bought it from in 1980. This is a nice solid old truck. Other than the added turn signals (Virginia did not require them until 1955), front fenders and seat belts the truck is pretty original and unmolested. Email me any question or call 804-five nine zero-0718.
