    Description

This 1960 Ford F100 comes with a Flareside farm-bed in baby blue with orange wheels and a slightly tinted orange wooden bed with that great gulf-cost color scheme.
It had a full restoration between 6 and 10 years ago. The restoration included moving the gas tank from the cabin to the back frame just behind the original Ford 9" rear-end. I purchased it 4 years ago from the guys who did a great job on it.
In the last couple of years I have made the following upgrades:
First (for safety’s sake) I added Power Brakes, front Disc brakes, lap/shoulder harness seat belts, new & fully functioning OEM style Ford brake & signal lights and wiring, and new tires. Then, over the past couple of years, I installed a newly rebuilt C-6 transmission, and although the 302 only had 9K miles on it since it last had a complete rebuild including a mild cam, I had new seals put on it while everything was out in the open. The power steering unit was and still is in good working condition. I also added a new Holley 4150 Street Avenger 670 with dual windows for easy tuning and completely replaced the older style fuel lines with steel braded lines with higher compression should you ever want to switch to injection. I also installed full size door windows, and a new wooden bed with new white wall tires (only 50 miles old.) To make it all look as good as the paint & interior still does.
It starts right up every time, and runs through all the gears flawlessly. I wouldn’t say the truck is perfect, there are a few chips, cracks, or blemishes here and there from the limited driving to/from car shows or the park over the past few years. Overall, however, the paint, interior, wheels, and bed all look great…much better than most. You’ll get a lot of looks and enjoy being a favorite at the car shows. Everywhere this truck is driven turns into a car show. If everything was coming off a fresh restore just this last year, my price would be double, but this is a more than nice example that can actually be driven safely, enjoyed, and shown for years to come.
I’ve taken it to another level from the guys I got it from, and you can take it to the next. Although, I don’t really know what else I’d do to it from here. Some guys are putting EFI on theirs, but this Holley carb is great and can probably be tuned even better. But, I don’t know of anything that it needs before you can safely enjoy it. The glass looks great. There is a little over spray and fading on the rubber around the glass, and a small faded spot on the passenger’s side carpet. I’m a bigger guy, so maybe changing to a tilting steering wheel, adding A/C or a nice stereo…or?? These are about the only projects I could imagine doing to this truck (small and not really necessary projects, but that could be fun to do). You can decide on, but nothing stopping you from really enjoying this truck tomorrow, and having a beautiful ride.
Let me know if you’d like to come out and see it south of Dallas, TX, or if you have any questions.
I'll help load it with your shipping company of choice, or I can take it to most places between Texas and Tennessee/Kentucky for /mile.  All payments and inspections must be completed before vehicle leaves.  I do have the title in hand.
