This is for One Rare, 1963 Dated, Early 1964 model Year Chevrolet Car, Truck and Corvette 327 cubic inch Chevy V-8 Bare Block with Main Caps, GM Casting Number 3782870.
This listing contains only one year of our collection of over 4000 original Chevrolet V8 engine blocks of all sizes.
These will all be sold as bare blocks to be rebuilt.
They will be hot tanked, shot blasted, tumbled, cleaned, inspected and magnafuxed before shipping.
This is a file photo, not the actual photo of the block you will receive, but they will basically look new when received.
They are guaranteed rebuildable with the proper machining.
The Flint blocks were used in Corvettes and many Chevy cars and trucks and the Tonanwanda blocks were used in certain cars and trucks, especially ones assembled at eastern assembly plants.

HISTORY LESSON: These are all original 1963 dated for early 1964 Chevy passenger car, truck and Corvette.
For other earlier and later dated blocks with different casting numbers, please see our other listings.
They were used in passenger cars, trucks and Corvettes.
They have an oil filter cannister mounting boss on the LH lower part of the rear of the block and still had a oil road draft breather tube location moved to the top of the block and the tube dumped in the area below the starter, although that was changed to a PCV system for the 1962 model year.
These blocks had the engine mount bosses on the side of the block.
Our warehouse contains over 3000 small block Chevrolet V-8 blocks of all years and sizes, 24 W series 348 and 409 blocks and over 400 big blocks!
