1968 Chevrolet Engine Block 3914678 C 12 8 302 327 Camaro SS 350 V0320ME SBC WOW

This is a original 1968 Small Block Chevy engine block. The casting number is 3914678 and the casting date is C 12 8 as shown.  The casting date decodes as March 12th, 1968. The front pad is stamped V0320ME  18N405430 as shown. This shows the engine was originally built as a 350/295HP engine used exclusively in the 1968 Camaro SS 350 models. The 18N405430 is the partial VIN of the car this block was original installed in. This is a very hard to find 1968 Camaro SS350 engine that has never been machined. This casting number block was also used for 1968 302 and 327 engines. Don't miss this awesome block.
This engine block is in good unmodified condition as shown. It was recently taken to the local machine shop to be cleaned and checked for cracks. The block was found to be free of cracks and still standard bore size. The bores do have a ridge on the top from use and have pitting from years of storage as shown.  The block will need to be bored as part of the rebuild process. This is a great block as a core for a rebuild. As with any core, this engine will need to be machined as part of the rebuild process. This is a great block for a restoration or hot rod build.

I will also drop this engine off at any shipping terminal within 45 miles of Santa Cruz, CA free of charge. Shipping arrangements and payment are the responsibility of the buyer. Most of my customers end up using YRC freight which used to be Roadway Express and Yellow Freight. Other customers have had luck with freightquote.com. The weight of the block when palletized will be about 200 pounds.
