80s Diamondback Apex Frameset
Vintage Mountain bike, ATB frame
Pretty rad (and rare) orange paint!
Spoke Holder on the chainstay
Tange steel tubes and diamondback cr mo fork
26” wheel size, 1” tange Levine cd headset, threaded, 68mm bottom bracket width, takes 27.2mm seat post
Spinner fork with drills, braze ons for a front rack
Double downtube bottle cage mounts
Plenty of room for fenders and rear racks
Frame size 20”
Seat tube center to top: 21” Toptube center to center: 22” head tube: 130mm
100mm front and 130mm rear spacing, spinner front dropouts, Shimano rear dropouts
Frame has two small dents on the toptube, shown in the last photo
Has chain drop scratches on right chain stay near bb
Otherwise it’s a pretty clean, good looking frame
Everything is shown well in the photos
Build it as an old school fully rigid mtb, drop bar gravel bike, touring rig, commuter city bike, retro cruiser… these frames are super versatile
