Description
Seven Cycles Diamas SL carbon frame.I'm calling this an XL / 58cm frame due to the effective top tube and standover height. See frame dimensions below for more accurate information.
Included with the frame: Sette carbon fork, New Origin 8 sealed bearing headset, New FSA SLK carbon seatpost (27.2mm dia, 350mm length, 20mm setback w/plug for shifter battery), New FSA Energy stem (100mm length, +/- 6 degree rise), New FSA Energy compact handlebar (44cm width), New Novatec Atom wheels with New Continental Ultra Sport tires (700x23c, blue stripe, folding bead, new presta valve tubes).
The parts are new, never used but may have minor marks from storage.
Best offer option is available so I'm open to "reasonable" offers. Shipping charges are to cover shipping to the west coast. If you are closer to me and shipping is less, I will refund the difference.
The frame is very nice with minimal marks from use. Beautiful paint job. Looks really good in the sun. Has a metallic finish in the blue and silver. A couple little paint defects here and there but overall very good. There is one spot of tire rub on the left side chainstay (pictured).
Semi-aero design with seat tube molded and faired to match the curve of the rear wheel
Bottom bracket is standard BSA, 68mm. There is a unique chain drop guard built into the bottom bracket assembly. There is a chain suck guard on the right chainstay as well.
Takes standard 27.2 mm seatposts but the post clamp is specific to the frame.
Rear brake cable and derailleur cables are routed internally. More info on that below.
Dimensions - these are my measurements so they may be off a tiny bit but are very close.
Seat tube center to center - 55.5 cm
Seat tube center to top - 57 cm
Top tube actual - 56.5 cm
Top tube effective - 58 cm
Head tube - 210 mm
Standover vertical from bottom bracket - 84 cm
Standover @ center of top tube - 85.5
Wheelbase - 1010 mm
Seatpost - 27.2 mm (seatpost is standard 27.2 mm round but post clamp is specific to the frame).
Bottom Bracket - BSA standard 68 mm width.
Headset - new Origin8 sealed bearing, 1 1/8"
Fork - Sette ZRO all carbon, 310mm steerer tube, Expander plug and top cap included.
NOTE: rear brake cable and derailleur cables are routed internally......... but there are no internal cable guides. The cables span freely between the cable stops. This means the rear brake and derailleur cable stops have to be removed in order to fish the cables through the frame.
The guides are relatively easy to remove once you know the trick. You will need a 1.5mm allen wrench and a small flat blade screwdriver. Once you see how they are installed it takes just a few minutes to run the cables.
Note: When I received the frame the lower derailleur cable guides were stuck (the o-rings that held them in place had swelled and cracked from age and jammed up the guide). I could see where the original owner tried to remove them with a pair of pliers and did some damage to the guide tubing (the frame was not damaged). I was able to remove the guides but due to the damage I had to replace the guide tube. I used brass tubing I purchased from a local hobby shop (I've used this before with good results.... and replacement tubing can be found on Ebay or a good hobby shop). I'll not go into the details here on how to remove the guides but can provide that information if requested (and will provide a description to the purchaser... if they are not already familiar).
Another note: I've seen another Diamas frame that had some carbon damage due to the guides being overtightened. There was NO damage to this frame but I decided to install a titanium reinforcement plate where the derailleur cable guides are installed. I cut and formed the titanium sheet by hand so it's not perfect but it works just fine and since it's on the bottom of the down tube it is not very visible when the bike is upright. I included a picture of the guides and reinforcing plate.

Questions welcome.
The description and details are accurate to the best of my knowledge but I'm human so a mistake may be possible. If you find a mistake or need clarification on something let me know.
Payment is requested within 48 hours of auction end. If you need to delay payment for some reason please let me know and I will work with you. No payment and/or no communication within 4 days after the auction ends may result in a non-paying bidder case automatically opened by Ebay. Local pickup is an option but I will require a non-refundable Paypal payment prior to pick up unless otherwise stated. Pre-payment amount to be determined based on the item, winning price and if I drive to meet the buyer. Balance will be due in cash upon delivery.
If you do or do not want a “signature required” delivery let me know.
Otherwise I may select signature required if the item is of high value or I think it might be delivered and left unattended. If the item is lost or damaged during shipment that will need to be taken up with the carrier or an insurance claim filed. If the item is marked as delivered by the carrier but stolen or mis-delivered and you never actually received it that will not be my responsibility and you will need to take that up with the carrier.
Shipping charges, if any, are for the lower 48 states. There may be a surcharge for shipping to AK or HI or to APO boxes.
If you are in HI or AK or want the item shipped to an APO box please contact me before payment
. If the shipping is free to the lower 48 I will choose the shipping method that works best for me depending on the size and weight of the package unless a specific shipping method is listed or requested. I generally use UPS or FedEX for larger packages and USPS for smaller items. I generally do not ship large packages by USPS since their charges are pretty outrageous. I will do my best to ship the item as soon as possible (but may take a day or two to obtain shipping materials for larger packages) then it will be up to the carrier to get it to you in a timely manner. I will not be responsible for delays due to weather, pandemics, acts of God or civil unrest.
If I receive no feedback or communication within 48 hours after the item is marked delivered I will assume the buyer is satisfied with the transaction and no refunds or returns will be offered
. If you feel there is a problem with the item from my end please let me know ASAP and I will do what I can to take care of it.
The vast majority of buyers leave no feedback or communication of any kind even if I leave feedback for them. Because of this my policy is to leave no feedback until I hear from the buyer in some form or another (by leaving feedback or other form of communication).
I do allow for international shipping to some locations through Ebay's global shipping service (for items that qualify for this service). With this service I ship the item to a US location where it is forwarded to the final destination. Keep in mind the global shipping service may add shipping charges to the final cost for which the buyer will be responsible.
Thank You.
