ITC-608T can work as a temperature controller, a humidity controller, a temperature and humidity controller. First, only plug temperature sensor with cooling and heating equipment. Second, only plug humidity sensor with humidifier and dehumidifier equipment. Third, plug both temperature and humidity sensor with cooling/heating and humidifier/dehumidifier equipment.

Can this be configured so that both temperature and humidity control the same outlet?

Nope. If you're in dual humidistat + temperature mode, one outlet will be for heating/cooling, the other will be for humidity control. You cannot set it so that one outlet will turn on when either temperature OR humidity reaches the threshold.

What is the maximum amps per outlet? Or maximum watts per outlet? Can each outlet handle 1800 watts?
A:
Maximum draw of 1800 watts means total draw of the two outlets combined. If you are using more than 15 amps chances are your going throw your homes circuit breaker. In most homes the wiring used for the outlets is 14 gauge which allows for only 15 amp maximum loading per circuit breaker. Home wiring for 120 VAC is rare… see more

I am looking to use this device on an exhaust fan in my gargage area to keep/lower the humidity level. will this work for that purpose?
A:
I don't see why not. You just plug in the exhaust fan to the controller and set the humidity level you want to achieve and the fan will run until the humidity is what you set it at. I use it in the same manner in my snakes tank in order to maintain high humidity. Hope this helps
